ProctorWrap High Tack PLUS Tape is a single sided pressure sensitive adhesive tape, made with an aggressive acrylic adhesive, designed primarily to repair, and seal overlaps and joins of external vapour permeable and internal vapour/air retarder construction membranes (i.e. for both external & internal building membranes). It is high tack (strongly adhesive on a clean surface) and ideal for taping up joins in construction membranes to produce an air tight seal, around windows in construction membranes to produce an air-tight seal, around windows, overlaps and penetrations. This tape is suitable for bonding of smooth and slightly rough surfaces and can be used to provide a weathertight seal between construction membranes and clean concrete, steel or timber framing. This tape is only recommended for use in addition to mechanical fixing of the membrane.
Benefits:
- High Tack adhesion for taping up joins, penetrations and around windows for all wall wraps or Building membranes (both vapour permeable and vapour barrier membranes)
- UV & humidity resistant for up to 4 months, after that it should be covered with cladding.
- Tape is white and easy to see if it hasn't been applied correctly. The shadow line can easily be seen compared to other darker tapes on the market.
- Comes in 2 width sizes
- 60mm x 20m rolls, and
- 75mm x 20m rolls
- You can purchase in unit or box quantities
- 60mm tape comes in boxes of 18 rolls
- 75mm tape comes in boxes of 12 rolls

Great products for a good price

Everything was packaged well
This stuff is so much better than the original high-tack tape that it replaces. The original one had the ability to remove fingerprints with the slightest touch. This new one is thinner with less glue and appears to have a longer working time making it easier to work with and recover from mistakes; all without compromising its ability to stick and seal. The only negative is that the backing paper has a tendency to tear as you’re rolling it out, so need to go a little slower.
Big thanks to the Tight House team for supplying an excellent range of products!
