Tight B-Seal Bottom of Door Seal
Our Door and Window Seal is different to others available on the market, as it can easily draught proof a range of gaps around most external doors & windows.... Introducing our premium:
Weatherization Bottom of Door Tight B-Seal – the ultimate solution for enhanced acoustics and improved thermal control +CTR - for external doors (including the door to the garage).
Made from high-quality rubber, this easy-to-install seal provides excellent soundproofing and helps maintain consistent indoor temperatures by preventing draughts. Featuring a strong, durable adhesive, it’s available in sleek white and grey options to suit any door style. Upgrade your space with our reliable, high-performance seal for a quieter, more energy-efficient environment.
Also performs amazingly well for acoustic attenuation for outdoor noise coming through your door.
Note: Not recommended for use on internal doors as this can affect the ventilation of rooms - particularly wet areas like bathrooms. The National Construction Code (2022) recommends that internal doors may require a gap beneath them for ventilation purposes, particularly when a room lacks natural ventilation. A common requirement is a 20mm undercut on a 700mm door, which may need to be adjusted based on the door's width and the exhaust system's airflow requirements. This gap allows for make-up air to enter the room to meet ventilation needs, especially in bathrooms and other spaces with exhaust fans (otherwise you are restricting the ability of the exhaust fan to move air).
Steps for your door or window: (please remove any previously applied door seal product prior to using the Tight B-Seal Bottom of Door Seal product)
Benefits:
- Acoustic Attenuation Testing conducted by CSIRO At least a 5db improvement. The Cheapest high performing door seals available.
- (Testing was done combined with Tight House Efficiency Seal - V-Seal)
- Easy to apply with 3 steps. Cut to size, remove adhesive backing strip and apply to a clean surface with tension to the bottom of the external door. Unlike other weather seals, it is applied to the inside of the door.
- Fills gap under door of up to 20mm
- Helps reduce your energy bills for heating & cooling your home
- Quality adhesion
- Relatively cheap compared to other products on the market
- Can also help reduce dust, pollen, smoke, fumes and excess noise entering your home
- Durable
- Comes in 2 colours (White & Grey) to match paintwork and 3 length choices (900mm, 1000mm & 1200mm)
[Not recommended for internal doors. This product is designed to reduce draughts & noise from entering a building from the outside, including fumes from the garage.]

My front door hangs a good few centimetres off the floor when shut but is almost flush with the floor when fully opened (gotta love old houses), so the previous door seal was so high up it was basically useless. Because the soft rubber of this seal is so flexible it's able to wrap under the door while opened and then spring back to completely cover the gap when it's shut.
It took a couple of tries to get the position right on the door so I was worried the adhesive wouldn't hold after repeated resticking, but after leaving it alone it was stuck on tight by the next afternoon
Used on door between garage and laundry. Ideal product as the gap was about 15mm - too large for most strip seals. The combination of the B-Seal at the bottom and the V-seal around the rest of the door has solved my problem. Great product.
