Quantity

A galvanised steel collar that turns a rangehood duct penetration into a sealed part of your ceiling airtightness layer. The 250 mm square flange fixes and seals to the plasterboard or membrane, and the Ø148 mm spigot slips straight inside standard 150 mm rigid or flexible duct — no tape-only joins, no gaps around the duct where warm air and moisture leak into the roof space.

Rangehood penetrations are one of the largest single leaks in an Australian ceiling. CollarTight gives you a rigid, durable connection that can be sealed once and stays sealed, whether you're chasing a blower door target or just stopping draughts and condensation.

Features
Ø148 mm spigot fits inside 150 mm duct for a snug, easy connection
250 mm square flange for fixing and sealing to plasterboard, membrane or rigid air barrier
0.8 mm galvanised sheet, spot-welded spigot-to-flange junction
200 mm spigot each side of the flange
Suits rangehood, exhaust fan and supply/extract ventilation ducts
Seal flange perimeter with airtightness tape or sealant on both faces
