ProctorPassive DriFlash Tape 150mm Split Release

ProctorPassive DriFlash Tape is a UV resistant single sided vapour permeable and air tight tape made with a unique vapour open acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive with superior ageing resistance. DriFlash Tape is the ProctorPassive UV-SA membrane cut into a manageable width for tape applications.

Applications:

ProctorPassive DriFlash Tape is ideal for air-tight bonding and sealing of penetrations, adjoining external insulation boards, sheathing, CLT, window frames and overlaps of vapour permeable membranes. The tape can bond to multiple substrates listed below.

Installation:

Installation of ProctorPassive DriFlash Tape must be in accordance with the Proctor Passive Wraptite UV-SA installation guide.  As with all pressure sensitive tapes, in order to ensure a strong bond, apply pressure on both sides of the material when applying the tape.  Surfaces being adhered must be dry and free of surfactants, release agents like grease or oil, and dirt or dust. Damp or cold surfaces may prove difficult to adhere to and must be allowed to dry prior to application of tape. All mechanical load on membranes should be distributed to mechanical fasteners, the tape not being applied under mechanical load. The use of adhesive tape is not a substitute for the correct fixing of the materials.
